About Us

We are a growing CPA and advisory firm dedicated to providing exceptional tax, accounting, and consulting services to individuals and businesses. We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant or CPA who can work directly with clients, prepare and review tax returns, and become a key part of our firm's continued growth.

 

This role is ideal for a professional with public accounting or tax experience who can operate independently, communicate effectively with clients, and provide a high level of service to business owners and high-net-worth individuals.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns.
• Conduct client interviews and gather financial and tax information through in-person meetings, Zoom meetings, phone calls, and email communications.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional and proactive communication.
• Work directly with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and other clients to identify tax planning opportunities.
• Research and resolve tax issues and respond to client questions.
• Review financial statements, bookkeeping records, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on tax planning and advisory projects.
• Assist with IRS and state tax notices and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate workpapers and documentation.
• Stay current with changes in federal and state tax laws.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of tax and accounting experience in public accounting, a CPA firm, or a related environment.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
• Strong client communication and interview skills.
• Comfortable meeting with clients in person, by phone, and via video conference.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities during busy seasons.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Experience with or willingness to learn UltraTax CS.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA license or CPA candidate.
• Public accounting experience.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
• Tax planning and advisory experience.
• Experience reviewing work prepared by other team members.
